We are closely monitoring the situation with Steward Health Care, including the closures of Carney Hospital and Nashoba Valley Medical Center on August 31, 2024.

Our priority is to ensure our members have access to the care they need.

We reached out out to our members who were in active care at Carney Hospital and Nashoba Valley Medical Center to ensure continuity of care.

We encourage concerned members to speak with your doctor or provider. Your provider can let you know what other hospitals and physicians may be available to you, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral healthcare and other outpatient services. You can also visit our Find a Doctor tool to find hospitals and providers near you.

To ensure you receive the right care—at the right time—in the right place, the best way to avoid the emergency department for non-emergent conditions is to call your primary care provider during normal business hours. You can also be seen at nearby limited services clinics or urgent care centers.

If you have any questions or need help accessing care, please contact us at the Customer Service number on the back of your ID card and we will assist you.
