October 24, 2024 (SOMERVILLE, MA) – Mass General Brigham Health Plan is proud to sponsor the Flutie 5K for Autism on Sunday, October 27, in Natick, Massachusetts. The annual event is hosted by the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism and raises funds to make a difference in the autism community.
The Flutie 5K for Autism is celebrating its 25th anniversary and has grown to a national event, encompassing satellite locations in multiple states while maintaining the flagship event in Natick. Mass General Brigham Health Plan is proud to work with the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism, and many other community-based organizations across Massachusetts, that share our vision of supporting individuals that need it most.
Our sponsorship of the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism is part of a comprehensive Community Benefits program that supports local organizations to meet the needs of communities in a variety of ways to promote health and well-being. Areas of focus include addressing chronic disease, mental health, substance use, and housing stability and other social determinants of health.
