Virgin Pulse/Welltok data security incident
We have been informed by our health and wellness vendor, Virgin Pulse/Welltok, that they experienced a data security incident due to a MOVEit Transfer vulnerability, which included some personal information about Mass General Brigham Health Plan members.
Virgin Pulse/Welltok is offering credit monitoring services. The information to sign up for credit monitoring is included in the notification letter you were sent. Virgin Pulse/Welltok also has a dedicated call center to answer your questions. You can call 1-800-628-2141 or visit the Virgin Pulse/Welltok website for additional information.
Those enrolled in Mass General Brigham Health Plan coverage for next year were scheduled to receive new ID cards for use starting January 1, 2024. Out of an abundance of caution, these new ID cards, which will be distributed in December, will now include new ID numbers. For additional questions regarding ID cards, members can contact Mass General Brigham Health Plan Customer Service at 866-414-5533.
