Mass General Brigham Health Plan is a member of Mass General Brigham, a world-renowned health system uniting thought leaders in health care and coverage.
Mass General Brigham is home to many of Boston’s top hospitals, including Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. It’s also comprised of community hospitals, specialty hospitals, such as Mass Eye and Ear, outpatient centers, home care, and more.

We offer a variety of plans to fit different needs and stages of life. That includes coverage for individuals, families, and retirees, as well as a MassHealth (Medicaid) plan for those who qualify. If you’re a business looking to offer health insurance to your employees, we’ve got employer-sponsored options too.
We have a broad network that includes doctors and hospitals from many healthcare systems. The best way to figure out whether your doctor or hospital is in-network with Mass General Brigham Health Plan is to use our provider search.
Once you’re there, you can filter by city and network. You can also search by category of care, like behavioral health, hospitals and other facilities, and urgent care.
Covered services include preventive care, mental health services, specialist visits, urgent care, and emergency care. We also offer prescription drug coverage. With most plans, you’ll get access to added services like Lyra Health and our women’s health portfolio.
Lyra Health is a virtual mental health platform that partners with us to provide members with fast, evidence-based care through provider matching, personalized support, and a digital wellness platform.
Our women’s health portfolio exists to support women through all stages of life, including pregnancy, menopause, and pelvic health concerns. You can access pelvic floor physical therapy from home, get virtual 1:1 menopause support, or text with a trained professional during and after pregnancy.

If you’re a commercial member who buys your own insurance, you can enroll through the Massachusetts Health Connector or with your insurance agent through one of our preferred partners.
If you get your insurance through your workplace, you should speak to your employer.

Our pharmacy benefits, managed by Optum Rx, offer members flexibility and savings. You can fill prescriptions at a wide range of pharmacies, including major chains and local stores nationwide. Our plans cover many common medications and over-the-counter drugs with a prescription.
Cost savings are available for maintenance medications through 90-day supplies via mail order. * For additional information, visit our pharmacy benefits page.
