Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Select HMO network?

In 2021, Mass General Brigham Health Plan launched a limited network product that has access to the Select HMO network. This product will be offered to MA Health Connector members, and specifically ConnectorCare members. Members will have access to comprehensive benefits at a lower cost through access to a limited network of high-quality providers.

Our full network products will also continue to be available to non-subsidized members who purchase their insurance through the Connector.

Who is included in the Select HMO network?

Mass General Brigham Health Plan's online provider directory has been updated to display Select HMO network providers. You can also contact your contract manager to confirm which networks you participate in.

It is important that your office validate which Mass General Brigham Health Plan network your patient is enrolled in and confirm your participation in that network.

Which members will have access to the Select Network?

The Select HMO network product will be available through the MA Health Connector. Existing Health Connector members enrolled in certain plans including ConnectorCare will transition to the Select HMO network product. The service area includes 8 counties in eastern MA: Bristol, Dukes, Essex, Middlesex, Nantucket, Norfolk, Plymouth and Suffolk.

Are there changes to covered services, benefits, or authorization/referral requirements?

No.
