Mass General Brigham Health Plan Announces Innovative Benefits for 2025

October 15, 2024 (SOMERVILLE, MA) – Mass General Brigham Health Plan is announcing a suite of innovative benefits and new products available on its fully insured commercial plans in 2025. The benefits were designed to create an exceptional healthcare experience by expanding access to convenient, affordable, and flexible care options.

Nationwide, consumers have continued to identify gaps within their healthcare experiences. According to the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Commercial Member Health Plan Study, access to care, cost of care, and chronic condition management all play a critical role in shaping the consumer healthcare experience.

• Comprehensive women’s health portfolio that provides resources for women at every stage of their healthcare journey and comprises pregnancy, postpartum and loss support, menopause, and a new, customized pelvic health offering.
• Virtual care options for both urgent and non-urgent medical and behavioral health services across a variety of platforms.
• Access to Mass General Brigham’s world-class healthcare, including coverage of Home Hospital, the largest and one of the most established programs in the country that provides acute, hospital-level care from trusted providers in the comfort of home. • Care Complement benefits that waive cost-sharing for certain services, such as chiropractic care and acupuncture, to provide flexibility to try alternative treatments for pain management and chronic conditions.
• Rx Savings Solutions that provides ways for members to save on prescription costs. This program helps members to reduce prescription drug costs by offering alternative, lower cost options.

In addition, Mass General Brigham Health Plan is committed to expanding affordable solutions to support small business in Massachusetts. Its Complete Access EPO (Exclusive Provider Organization) plan, now available to large employers, will be made available to individuals and small group businesses starting on January 1, 2025.
